From Acoustic Dudes ..... to Electric Dudes
Emmet & Dave played as "The Acoustic Dudes" @ "The Runway Inn" in Bethpage, circa 1980's; intended FOR 1 NIGHT ONLY! (more like “the Smothers Brothers” than anything serious!) It was such a success; that people kept asking for it again. Requests started coming in for PARTIES, New Years Eve ... we decided NYE would be better with Bass & Drums; so the name “THE ELECTRIC DUDES” was coined .... (again for 1 Night Only).
